5 Across: Augment (Au + G-men + T)
6 Across: Sherbet (Sheet around RB)
1 Down: Gnaws (G + "swan" backwards)
2 Down: Argue (R in the middle of "Ague")
3 Down: Dweeb (DB contains "wee")
4 Down: Motet ("Salute to music" contains "tetom" - reverse it)
