The
Weekly World News has
ceased publication (but the website will remain). As
Wikipedia states, the WWN was started to use the old black & white printing presses of the National Enquirer when it switched to colour. I'll miss seeing it at the supermaket checkout (although I only bought it once or twice). I never knew they had a financial column written by Sammy The Chatting Chimp (
"Monkey Business"), or an advice column by Lester The Typing Horse (
"Horse Sense").
And as for columnist Ed Anger, was he the inspiration for Earl Pitts, Uhmerikun?
